Great Tours!! Many things you can do here! We were picking the Sheep Shearing Tour. It was AWESOME!! Rarely to see this in real life! Staff were great, esp. Cody!. We got some souvenirs back home as well. Will definitely come back!Posted on Google Linda YeohTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We joined 2 activities - Petting Zoo and Farm experience. For the Petting Zoo, the animals were in a large compound (Sheeps , Alpaca, Pigs) and it seems they are all rescued (from what we were told). They seem well taken care, the person that brought as around seem to care for them, knowing their names and behavior, sharing their characteristics. For the pigs, they were also trained to sit on command! Impressive! My daughter and my family enjoyed our time and experience there. After the tour we were also given a postcard of photos of the animals, what a great way of commemorating the experience. Next day we visited the farm experience. We were the only ones there, so it’s somewhat like a private tour. We got to learn and see how Sheeps are sheared (as it’s winter, they sheared mainly the belly, poo area, and eyes), how the wool were then being transformed to final products. They are all merino sheep so quality wool for sure! After that, we saw 2 different type of dogs herding. As we are a border collie owner, this experience was meaningful as we get to capture how border collies actually herd in their natural habitat. Overall great experiences!Posted on Google sawitree seematongTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Having a great time here, staff are super friendly . I really enjoyed the Sheep Shearing.Posted on Google Nana K.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If you want a new experience in New Zealand, I recommend here! You can also see cute sheep and smart dogs. Sheep on the grasslands are easy to see, but it was also a good experience to touch and take pictures up together. And they also gave us souvenirs as gifts. Amazing staffs 🫶Posted on Google Riccardo ScottonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A beautiful experience that takes you into the heart of New Zealand culture. Amazing staff. Watching the sheep shearing process and the work of the sheepdogs was truly special and authentic.Posted on Google PoorniTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If I could give zero stars, I would. Booked a stargazing tour and followed all the instructions given in their confirmation email. They mentioned weather changes quickly (fair enough it was a shitty weather day - I emailed in afternoon. Was told weather can clear up - ok on this. ) Their comms on the day clearly stated that a cancellation email would be sent 1 hour before the tour if it was called off. I checked constantly—no email, my junk folder, there was no SMS, no phone call. I even called exactly one hour before the tour which is at 7.46. No answer. Their own email said, if you don’t hear from us an hour before, please arrive as usual. So that’s what we did. We drove all the way there with a child—only to be told, bluntly and unapologetically, “It’s cancelled.” To make matters worse, I was also told I had no booking, only for them to “suddenly find it” when I showed booking confirmation. Their excuse? “Our system shows it email delivered. If you didn’t get it, we don’t know.” No accountability. No apology. Just a front desk staff member who acted like we were inconveniencing her by showing up. Totally unprofessional. If you can’t be proactive in communication, at the very least answer your phone. People plan their evenings, spend time, and effort to show up—only to be met with rudeness and zero customer care. Do better.Posted on Google Leon LuTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We reserved a midnight stargazing in Chinese, the guide was amazing, she is perfectly explained all stars and give us fruitful background stories, start from why Tekapo is the best place for tourists to stargazing in South Island, and all those beautiful stories about shining stars in the sky, she made our night in Tekapo more memorable and vivid ! She made all the money worth! Appreciation from Taiwan! 這裡的中文觀星講解非常值得! 解說人員的深度知識可以讓身在北半球的亞洲人了解更多在南半球獨有的星空,我覺得非常非常值得去體驗 也值得這個價格!👏👏Posted on Google Chris FageTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The stargazing tour was interesting and informative. We got a considerable refund because of the cloud content.Posted on Google Cyrill LamTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We booked the Mt. Hay Farm experience last minute and we are glad that we did it. Cody gave us lots of insights and was really passionate about it. Thank you for the great tour.
